Protect Your Feet

foot with pointe shoe injuries

Feet are one of the most fluid parts of your anatomy. Always in motion (especially for dancers!), feet change shape to accommodate what your body needs. As you progress through your pointe career, your feet will progress with you — and so should your shoes.

Poorly fitted shoes can not only hurt your performance, they can increase the risk of injury. Because feet are so fluid, what worked a few months ago, may not be optimal for you now.

That’s why we encourage regular fitting check-ups with our professional fitters. Our experts stay up-to-date on the latest styles, newest technology and emerging trends on pointe shoe health and safety. During a refitting appointment, we check the health of your feet as well as the durability and compatibility of your shoes to determine if it is time for new or different shoes.
